PRIMARY

At the Cairo English School, we have a wonderful primary school full of rich learning activities, theme weeks, parent and community events and excursions. We run the English national curriculum and all our teachers are qualified, experienced practitioners from overseas. We also include the Arabic national curriculum (for nationals) or Arabic as a Foreign Language (AFL) for non-nationals. The children are at the heart of our decision making and there is strong emphasis on progress not just academically, but socially, emotionally and physically. 

We believe it is our joint responsibility as teachers and parents to ensure our children follow the English national curriculum aims :

• To be successful learners who enjoy learning, make progress and achieve. 
• To be confident individuals who are able to live safe, healthy and fulfilling lives.
• To be responsible citizens who make a positive contribution to society.
