Dear FS Parents,
Starting the 27th May until the 14th of June, your child will have the opportunity to participate in swimming during a PE lesson in the school pool.
As your child partakes of 2 sessions of PE a week only one session will be designated for swimming the other will remain a PE lesson. Please see the schedule below for the days your child’s class will have swimming:

Monday 28/5, 4/6, 11/6

Please ensure that your child comes to school with plenty of waterproof sun cream already applied from home and bring a towel (preferable toweling robe), flip flops (sheb sheb) and their swimsuit in a clearly labeled bag. All items of personal belongings must have your child’s name clearly marked on them. Do not let your child wear the swimsuit to school as it causes problems when they need the bathroom and sometimes a change of underwear is forgotten. If your child has long hair, please provide swim hats to keep it dry. Safety arm bands are provided at school. Please practice with your child the act of dressing and undressing independently at home. Your child should be able to dress themselves with very little assistance now. The children will be supervised by the class teacher, TA, nanny, PE teacher and a life guard.
