Step 2: Interview and Assessment

Admission staff will arrange a time for your interview and your child's assessment. Please have your requried documents ready as well as the application form.

Step 3: Acceptance and Payment

Acceptance is finalised with payment of applicable fees. Admissions will contact you to initiate this step.
Academics
English National Curriculum

CES follows the ENC and students are required to take the same standardised testing as students in England.

IB World School

As an IB World School, CES students are expected to follow the IB Learner Profile and to meet the high IB academic standards that are recognised worldwide.
Activities
After School Activities

CES has a variety of after school activities that not only allow students to stay active but help them pursue specific interests in more depth.

Sports

CES actively competes both nationally and internationally in a variety of sports. Students who successfully participate in sporting not only enjoy healthy competition but show other academic benefits as well.

Vacancies

At Cairo English School, we take pride in offering students a fulfilling learning experience in a welcoming environment. Our teachers count on teaching assistants to bring their best to the classroom every day. We’re searching for a qualified teaching assistant to join us in delivering the high-quality education we’re known for. The ideal candidate will have experience with student development, supervision, and education. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a positive, patient attitude are essential in this role.

Job Duties:

· To work under the instruction/guidance of teaching/senior staff to undertake work/care/support programs

· To provide general support to the class teacher in the management and organisation of the pupils and the classroom

· To be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school.

· Supervise and provide support for pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.

· Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils’ work.

· Assist with the planning of learning activities.

· Provide detailed and regular feedback to teachers on pupils’ achievement, progress, problems etc.

· Contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school
