As the End of Year Examinations come to an end teachers are working on making the final week of school as enjoyable as possible. The commitment, resilience and frankly incredible attitude of students has been outstanding and I hope that next week they will enjoy the sessions our teachers are arranging for next week. The school will be sharing a special timetable soon for this. I should also remind secondary school that on Sunday the 14th, textbooks and library books should be returned. Entry is through gate 3 where you will be led to the collection area by the shaded Blue Court area.

Teachers are now finalizing the end of year reports for all students with only the End of Year Examination grades to be entered, and they are due to be published via the Parent Portal on June 18th. Non-exam groups will be receiving a normal report based on their work in Term 3 and examination groups will be receiving reports with Term 3 grades with written comments your teachers made before the school closure. If any parent is unsure of how to access the parent portal please contact

This week has also been a very busy week for Year 10 students, who have been having taster sessions for their Year 11 subjects, I hope they have got a much better insight into how their course will look next year and are eager for the challenge of the IB and the AS programme. Before they know it they will be in the same position as our current Year 11...applying for University and our current Year 12...graduating. This age is very much a turning point in school life as it is the transition from young student to young adult where independence and responsibility play a larger part.

We were also pleased to announce this week that Year 12 will be finishing their final week in school with formal graduation photos. It is only fitting that they have an opportunity to say goodbye to the school that many of them have been in for 14 years. Unfortunately, a full graduation ceremony wasn't possible in June but that is merely a postponement and all students will get their full graduation during the next academic year when safety of all participants and be maintained.

When parents and students arrive at school for the book return and graduation photos some of you may see the steps the school is taking to be the best it can be. There is some major construction taking place on site as we add more classrooms and science labs to the secondary school. Even with one week to go I am filled with excitement and anticipation to welcome back all students in to the classrooms and corridors of this amazing school.
