The academic Year 2019-20 is now officially closed and students and staff are planning how best to recharge their batteries over the next few weeks so that we can all return in September ready and willing to learn. This year has been one of the proudest years of my career because it has in an unusual way been a year of opportunity. It would be very easy to use the coronavirus as an excuse to idle, but CES family, staff, students and parents did anything but idle. They have innovated, engaged, built and inspired a new form of teaching. As hard as we have all worked on eLearning all teachers know deep down that it isn't the same without having the students in the classroom with us and we are all looking forward to restarting in September and continuing to build the relationships with the students as they continue their academic and pastoral journey.
I wish all members of the CES family happy holidays, and see you soon!
